Roya Hassan Abadi

On the way to my professional success I have taken every step myself and have overcome all the obstacles. My knowledge draws on my own experiences. Therefore, I am able to put myself in the position of foreign job applicants more easily and to support them optimally.

Roya Hassan Abadi was born in Iran. She moved to Germany in 2008 and received her German citizenship in 2018. After graduating from Augsburg University with a master's degree in Physics, she worked as a consultant in the automotive sector. This brought her in contact with many customers in the automotive industry and allowed her to gain extensive experience in project management and requirements management. During these years, Roya gained deep insight into the IT industry, including software development processes, test procedures, process improvement and product marketing. Today she works for an IT Service provider in the marketing area.
Her professional career has never stopped Roya from engaging in social activities. She was awarded the DAAD Prize of the Augsburg University in 2016. Her part-time work as an interpreter helped Roya gain understanding and appreciation of other cultures. Organization of intercultural events is one example of her engagement in social activities.
